Major Refurbishment Works
United House Ltd has engaged Invicta to carry out a significant programme of works at Colne and Mersea Houses in Barking, East London.
Works began in December 2010 and include the boiler room fit out, supply and installation of risers and laterals, supply and installation of cold water booster and down service and the installation of radiators and assosiated pipework in some 200 individual dwellings.
In recent years Invicta has developed an excellent working relationship with United House and this new £1m+ contract is evidence of a profitable working relationship.
GASTROMONICAL
That was the headline in the Sunday Mirror (29/08) who reported that a major gas provider charges up to 40% more to install a boiler than an independent installer.
Undercover researchers obtained quotes to install the same boiler in 13 houses then compared the price with those given by independent installers. In 10 cases, the giant quoted more for the job, on average by 39%, but in one case it was 75% more.
Invicta clients regularly confirm that our prices for replacement boilers and heating systems are far more competitive than other installers.
School Refurbishment rescued by Invicta
When Kent County Council were let down at the last minute, Invicta stepped in at very short notice to ensure that the works at Victoria Road Primary School went ahead as planned during the summer break.
"We really had to pull out all the stops and mobilise for work in a couple of days. As usual everyone mucked in and work began on time" - Neil Connelly, Commercial Contract Manager
Major boiler upgrade for residents in Lambeth
Following the conclusion of a rigorous selection process, Lambeth Living Ltd has placed an order with Invicta to design, supply and install new communal boilers at the Notre Dame Estate in south west London.
Invicta fought off strong competition from much larger organisations to win this contract and the 18 week programme of works begins in earnest shortly.
Invicta's MD Garry Pass remarked that "this success further enhances our (Invicta's) well established reputation in the competitive commercial marketplace".
More homes benefit from improved heating system
Invicta is proud to announce that it has signed a contract with Wandsworth Council to install replacement heating and hot water systems properties on the Kambala Estate in Wandsworth.
This contract with Wandsworth Council follows closely behind the recently completed contract to install the same services nearby in another 150 homes on the Ashburton Estate, which included an element of works in sheltered homes.
"Although this type of work is ‘bread & butter’ for Invicta, we still have to continually up our game to meet clients' exacting standards in terms of quality and value for money"' – Malcolm Thomas, Contracts Manager
Invicta Heating Services off to a flyer
This Kent based gas installer has enjoyed an excellent start to its newly fomed business arm.
Created specifically to cater for the needs of private domestic clients, the sales team has received numerous enquiries from homeowners wishing to upgrade their boiler and heating system, and many such enquiries have been converted to sales.
Sales Manager Dave Johnson cited Invicta’s competitive quotes as the most significant factor in converting enquiries to sales – 'but clients are also impressed by our responsiveness to their enquiries and the impartial advice given' said Dave.
