Projects - New Calthorpe Estate

New Calthorpe Estate

Project Description
This is the second project that Invicta has secured under Camden’s Better Homes and Construction Mechanical Framework and a further opportunity to forge a close and mutually beneficial working relationship.

The Calthorpe Estate occupies the south-eastern corner of the parish of St. Pancras, between Gray’s Inn Road on the west, the Fleet River on the east, the parish boundary on the south and Battle Bridge Field on the north. It offers accommodation to 126 family homes.

The company has refurbished the boiler house, whilst retaining the existing arterial mains and internal dwelling systems.

This project has now been successfully completed. In addition to replacing the boilers, introducing twin plate heat exchangers and new primary and secondary pumps, the works included the removal and replacement of the two existing 9m high, free standing chimneys. The new secondary system is fitted with a X-Pot side stream filter to assist with maintaining the LTHW system water quality.

All works have now been completed within the budget and to the agreed programme. Both the client and their principal designer are very impressed with the quality of the finished product, the attention to detail and the provision of access to facilitate future maintenance.
