Projects - 160 Tooley Street, Southwark Council Head Office

Invicta are delighted to have secured the project to complete the replacement of four existing chillers with three Daikin Air Source Heat Pumps and one new Daikin chiller, the reconfiguration of pipework, valves and controls to suit the new equipment, the installation of new Photo Voltaic (PV) panels on the roof and associated controls, and modifications to the Building Management system (BMS) at 160 Tooley street, the Head Office of Southwark Council. The works will take place in multiple locations within the building:

• the roof area with its chiller works and LTHW pipework
• the roof area with is Solar PV installation works
• the basement heating works
• riser and flue works.

The rooftop works will involve crane lifting of the Daikin equipment to the rooftop area over a weekend due to the busy street location adjacent to Tooley Street , a busy thoroughfare. Our operational teams have worked closely with Ove Arup and Partners Ltd, Pellings LLP, and the team on behalf of Southwark council led by their Construction Project Manager.
