Invicta are delighted to be working with the London borough of Southwark on the internal demolition and strip out work which will enable the complete architectural and services refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Library and youth centre, including the construction of a new extension incorporating a platform lift and stair core.
The Brandon Youth Centre and Library is located within the London Borough of Southwark and is contemporary to the wider Brandon Estate, dating from the early 1960’s.
Situated over two stories, with the ground floor being the existing Library, formed of a large reading room and other ancillary community spaces. The Youth Centre is located on first floor level and contains a large open hall featuring a stage at one end.
The building remains in use as a vibrant community hub offering a range of facilities and services tailored to young people and local residents.
