Invicta Building Services were delighted to be working on behalf of Enfield council to upgrade the mechanical services at 4No 12 storey residential blocks in Exeter Road.
The project involved replacing the communal pipework risers from the plant room to the 12th floor, and replacing the pipework and heat pumps as required to the 200 properties in all blocks. In addition there was electrical work and builders work required.
The GSHP system including the closed loop vertical boreholes, below ground headering pipework, above ground riser pipework, had previously been pressure tested. The internal Heat Pump and associated domestic hot water cylinder including the flat wet central heating
systems were pressure-tested as part of this contract to ensure the integrity of each system element, and where required new Heat Pumps were installed, tested, and commissioned by the contractor.
The existing Heat Pumps reused as part of the contract works were checked for correct operation and then the systems commissioned to ensure correct operation.
We were delighted to be working once again with Enfield council to bring long lasting heating benefits to their residents for many years to come.
