The project involved remedial works to the boosted cold-water services (BCWS) valves and
accessories located within the risers within a 15 year old 9 storey residential building located in Croydon on behalf of Hyde Housing.
The works included the stripping out of fittings, accessories and related pipework followed by the installation of
- Y Strainers as
- new PRV’s with
- new ½” BSP water hammer arrestors
- new surge arrestors with built-in air vent
- the reconnection on to the existing pipework.
In addition we undertook the stripping out the damaged plywood lining inside the cabinets.
The works took place with minimum disruption to water services
and water supply to tenants.
