Constructionline

It claims to be the UK’s most connected and progressive provider of procurement and supply chain management services, making contracting simpler and help customers achieve more.

Not only does Constructionline collect, verify and monitor standard company information through a bespoke question set that is aligned to PAS 91; the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication within the construction industry, but they also offer a range of allied services and opportunities, all designed to assist buyers in their day to day activities.

As a registered buyer with Constructionline, the time and cost consuming hassle of assessing tender submissions and maintaining up-to-date supplier information will become a thing of the past.

Through our Constructionline membership we also have Acclaim Accreditation, the health and safety accreditation service provided by Supplier Assessment Services which works to support the objectives on the SSIP to improve health and safety standards across the UK

Gas Safe Register

This is the official gas registration body in the United Kingdom, appointed by the Health and Safety Authority. By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register.

Gas Safe Register investigates reports of illegal gas work. The information gathered is passed on to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), who have the power to prosecute. To view these prosecutions please visit the HSE website.

Microgeneration Certification Scheme

The microgeneration certification scheme maintain standards that allows for the certification of products, installers and their installations.

We have achieved MCS accreditation through the certification scheme by Napit who are a certified body,  to design and install solar photovoltaic with battery storage and air source heat pump renewable energy sources. We undergo an annual assessment to demonstrate that we continue to operate to the scheme standards.

MCS is a mark of quality. Membership of MCS demonstrates adherence to these recognized industry standards; highlighting quality, competency and compliance. We operate an industry recognized quality management system and are members of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code, a trading standards institute approved consumer code scheme which offers high consumer protection to domestic consumers.

Our vision is to provide affordable and reliable renewable energy and low carbon technologies-for the benefit of our environment and our customers.

CIPS Sustainability Index

Before the scheme was discontinued, we were a ‘Rated Supplier’ on the CIPS Sustainability Index (CIS).

CIS is a collaboration between the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, the University of West England (UWE) and PRGX. With research indicating that there were limited cross-industry standards to assess all three pillars of sustainability for both suppliers and buyers, the CIPS Sustainability Index was developed by the team to create a consistent sustainability measurement to support purchasing and, in doing so, create significant time and cost efficiencies.

The most recent company scores show the following percentages against each of the three pillars, with no areas requiring improvement:

  1. Economic  –  76%
  2. Environmental  –  92%
  3. Social  –  91%
