Great collaboration and social values with Southern Housing
Our Southern Housing HNES project has come to an end, on time and within budget. The Dagenham Heathway project included the replacement of Heat Interface Units with #Ideal Pod Units within 82 flats, as well as plant room and heat network distribution upgrades.
As the project concluded, we were pleased to meet with Southern Housing Estate Team Member, Kim Boom, to present the installation of a steel gate with electronic access for the bin store area, part of our social values commitment.
Senior Site Supervisor, Eamon Kidd & Southern Housing Project Manager Stephen English, handed the gate to Kim, Estate Care Operative at Southern Housing. Kim prides herself on ensuring the cleanliness of the buildings and facilities for the residents in the 3 adjacent blocks at Church Elm and Heathway.
The residents had been requesting a gate for some time, due to issues with antisocial behaviour. Kim said, “The security gate will ensure there’s no unauthorised access into the bin area and we’re confident it will improve things for residents.”
Stephen English commented:
“I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Invicta Building Services Limited for the work they’ve undertaken at Dagenham Heathway.
I’m especially grateful to them for the way they coordinated and programmed the project to ensure we came in with the timeframe, as this was critical.
The site team were always on top of everything, and it was a pleasure working with them. They demonstrated a positive “can and will do approach” throughout.
I ‘d have no hesitation in recommending Invicta Building Services Limited on future projects and therefore look forward to working with them again.
In conclusion, please forward my thanks to your team for their contribution to making this project the success it is.”
