Invicta were delighted to be working for the first time with the Templeman Library in Canterbury on the mechanical and electrical work connected with the replacement of the air handling units and associated ductwork on the Extension Roof area known as Block E which is part of a larger remedial work to upgrade the roof area.
As the overall site and existing parts of the University of Kent are occupied during normal working hours, and in certain areas ‘out-of-normal-hours’ all common building life safety systems (fire alarm etc.) were in fully operable condition for the duration of the works.
Due to it being a live building some works were carried out over the weekends to minimize disruption
