Projects - Thames Tunnel Mill

Thames Tunnel Mill

Project Description
Thames Tunnel Mill is a listed mid 19th century former mill building and warehouse. It is one of the earliest warehouse residential conversions in Docklands.

This project saw the replacement of the heating and hot water distribution pipework within the Landlord’s areas and the replacement of heating and hot water services within the 71 flats, communal WC’s and common room.

Invicta was delighted to be working with L&Q once again.

Satisfied residents provided the following feedback.

Comments.

“We have had work being done for 3 years in my block and I was not going to allow the work in my flat to be done until I met Adam, the site manager.
He was such a lovely man, kind and he was going above and beyond for everyone in my block. He even moved my radiator for the second time to stop my 3 year old from standing on the window ledge. He even came in on a Saturday to help out. If it was not for him, a lot of people would not have had the work done. You need more Adams”

Ms S M

” I felt listened to by the Invicta team, and each day their site manager visited my home to check on progress and clearly explain the next step. The team arrived on time, on the days we scheduled, in advance. A big relief.
I’m pretty chuffed with the results of their workmanship. The risers and pipes are positioned in the locations I’d asked. I feel confident the new radiators will provide adequate heat in a North-West facing property which is not double glazed.
Invicta’s contractors were methodical and efficient, and none of my stuff got damaged.
The work was carried out during a Covid pandemic, and as a person who is clinically extremely vulnerable, I was relieved social distancing was adhered to by the Invicta team on all occasions.
Therefore, I’d recommend the Invicta team as my experience was positive, and being warm and snug at last is life-changing”
