Based in Prince Albert Road, opposite Regents Park, this impressive building comprises luxury flats and apartments and it requires an extensive plantroom refurbishment, including re-configuration to accommodate the new boilers.
The works will be phased as follows:
Phase 1 – Strip out and removal of all boilers and associated equipment attaining to the LTHW, leaving only the Gas fired hot water cylinders and the HWS pumps operational.
Phase 2 – Install new boilers and HWS generating equipment, incorporating hydraulic separation via the use of a plate heat exchanger.
Phase 3 – Connecting new equipment to the existing distribution pipework.
Phase 4 – Strip out and removal from site of remaining hot water generating plant.
Phase 5 – Commissioning and testing of all new equipment prior to handover.
The value of the project is £272k and the works will take 8 weeks to complete.
